Pedestrian diversion in place at Paradise Birmingham

A pedestrian diversion is in place through Paradise Birmingham so the Phase One paving and public realm works around the development can be completed.

This also helps the work to refurbish Chamberlain Square and Centenary Way to be completed by the end of this year.

Running until 28 October 2019, the diversion guides people from Victoria Square to Centenary Square via Edmund Street and Eden Place, apart from access to Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery main entrance which is still accessible via Victoria Square.

During the diversion period all businesses and destinations remain open as usual.

The diversion is fully signed on site, including through the use of arrows and maps, and updates are being posted on social media as well as through bodies like Birmingham Connected and Birmingham City Council.
