Paradise proud to support Poppy Appeal

Paradise Birmingham is supporting its occupiers, visitors and clients by match funding all donations to the Royal British legion Poppy Appeal this autumn.

Poppy boxes with a range of gifts and badges are now available on reception at both One Chamberlain Square and Two Chamberlain Square, ensuring everyone who works across the estate has the opportunity to take part.

The estate has also installed its own Paradise Poppies on lamp posts on Centenary Way to mark the appeal and has transformed one of its nearby hoardings into a dedicated ‘100 Years of Remembrance’ display.

Paradise is match funding all donations made in the run up to Remembrance Sunday, which this year takes place on Sunday 14 November.

Caroline Rudge, Commercial Manager at Paradise development managers MEPC, said:

With our match funding for all donations received at the Poppy Appeal collection boxes on reception at One Chamberlain Square and Two Chamberlain Square, we hope we can make even more of an impact this year.”

As well marking the sacrifice and service of the Armed Forces in the UK and across the Commonwealth, Remembrance Day also recognises the huge contribution made by volunteers, the Emergency Services and civilians who have lost their lives or been affected by conflict and acts of terrorism.

The appeal is an inclusive act that represents all those who have lost their lives in all conflicts from the beginning of the First World War right up to the present day. It also honours the contribution of all uniformed services that contribute to national peace and security.
