Paradise Summer Live!
It’s time for Paradise Summer Live!
1st – 9th August: 11:00am – 4:00pm
A daily programme of live entertainment, music and dance, to brighten up your summertime. Look out for Olympic fun, a visit from the Phoenix cricket team, hilarious street acts for all the family, summer games and a colourful pop-up Bollywood Indian Summer Party. There will be tasty give aways and a chance to relax on the Paradise cushion steps for a picnic over lunch. There’s also free table tennis every day (weather permitting).
Programme
Thursday 1st August – Paradise Olympic Selfie Spot
The podium is ready and the racetrack is primed for some Olympic style fun. Look out for our running men at various intervals throughout the day to capture that perfect selfie! With toe tapping music from the live mariachi band, Summer starts and finishes here.

Friday 2nd August – Paradise Summer Cricket
Birmingham Phoenix are excited to bring cricket to Paradise to launch The Hundred in Birmingham. Come and meet the players in Chamberlain Square ahead of their first home match at Edgbaston this summer and gain some tips from the coaching team.
Saturday 3rd August – Family Day
With a roaming waiter conjuring up tricks and clever feats around Paradise, a children’s circus skills workshop throughout the day and our table tennis tables, there’s plenty to do for an hour or two at Paradise.

Sunday 4th August – Family Day
Look out for the animated mime artists as well as a circus skills workshop to test your juggling, hula hooping, spinning plates and diabolo skills. Who will be the best performer in your family?

Monday 5th August – Summer Games
It’s the Olympics in Paris and to help you get into the French spirit, why not have a game of boules at Chamberlain Square, with your family or work colleagues? Albert’s Schloss will be dishing out complimentary croissants to players at various intervals.
Tuesday 6th August – Summer Games
We’re continuing our celebration of the Paris Olympics with a game of quoits! Try your hand and compete against friends on our Paradise court. We will also be giving out complimentary La pop! ice creams to help you cool off after an eventful game.
Wednesday 7th August – Table Tennis Tournaments
Pick up some tips from the Paradise coaches on our 3 professional tables. It’s treat time too with Paradise rock being handed out to visitors to Chamberlain Square.

Thursday 8th August – Bollywood Indian Summer
Paradise will come alive with a vibrant blend of Bollywood dancing and the parading bhangra band. Pop over to the Dishoom bar for a complimentary, refreshing nimbu soda too.
- Dancers: 11:00am, 12:00pm and 1:30pm
- Bhangra band: 12:30pm, 1:30pm and 2:30pm
- Nimbu soda: between 2:00pm – 3:00pm (limited offer)
Friday 9th August – Family Day
The finale of the Paradise Summer Live! programme is a strangely wonderful performance for all the family to enjoy.
