Chamberlain Square – get ready to be bowled over!

Birmingham Phoenix is coming to Paradise this week as part of a unique cricket-themed day at Paradise Summer Live! on Friday, 2nd August.

The Edgbaston-based cricket team will launch The Hundred in Birmingham and the public is invited to meet the team’s players in Chamberlain Square before their first home match this summer.

What’s more, players from both the men’s and women’s teams will be coming down to share their own tips with the public this Friday.

To add to the fun, Paradise is also giving away two tickets for Birmingham Phoenix’s The Hundred match on Tuesday 6th August against the Northern Superchargers at Edgbaston. One lucky attendee will walk away with a pair of tickets.

Paradise Summer Live! is a family-friendly programme of events, giveaways and promotions in Chamberlain Square from 1-9 August. The daily programme of live entertainment, music and dance is all designed to brighten up your summertime.

As well as the Birmingham Phoenix event, there’s also Olympic fun, hilarious street acts for all the family, summer games and a colourful Bollywood Indian Summer Party.

There will be tasty food giveaways and a chance to relax on the Paradise cushion steps for a picnic over lunch.

There’s also free table tennis every day – weather permitting!
