Ready, set, quiz!
More than eighty people from across Paradise put their heads together for the Big Fat Quiz of the Year hosted in the Mills & Reeve workspace at One Centenary Way.
Colleagues and friends organised themselves into 17 teams of 5, all determined to become the 2026 Paradise Quiz Meisters of the year!
As part of the estate’s ongoing activities just for occupiers and their staff, the quiz was not just good fun but also highlighted the growing community amongst different companies based at Paradise.
Almost all regular activities throughout the year are free, with participants asked instead to make a donation to the estate’s two designated charities through the Paradise Just Giving page.
These have been chosen by occupiers and staff themselves – and this year are Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity and Alzheimer’s Research UK.
The fast moving quiz witnessed a wide-range of rounds which tested everyone’s knowledge, with subjects covered including Birmingham, the Paradise estate, local history and current affairs.
Three fantastic prizes were up for grabs, with £200, £150 and £100 Paradise restaurant vouchers going to the worthy winners:
- 1st place: Goldman Sachs
- 2nd place: AtkinsRéalis
- 3rd place: AtkinsRéalis
Alongside the quiz was the Yoyo Challenge, where one member from each team competed to see who could yoyo for the longest. The inaugural Paradise Yoyo Champion was crowned from AtkinsRéalis, who took home a £25 Rosa’s Thai voucher and chocolates.
Quizzers were also treated to a classic pie supper and drinks, adding to the pub-quiz atmosphere.
You’re also invited to take one round of the quiz yourself and find out how much you know about Paradise!
