Car Parking Terms

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE CAR PARK

CARD PAYMENTS ONLY. All major debit and credit cards accepted, except for Amex and Diners.

Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) is in operation and is used to (i) capture vehicle registration numbers in order to calculate a vehicles length of stay in the car park and the parking charge, and (ii) will be monitored for the purpose of crime prevention, detection, prosecution and health and safety.

All persons entering the car park do so at their own risk and neither the Company nor any person acting on its behalf is in any way responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by them or for loss or damage to vehicles and their contents left within the car park.

A schedule of charges is displayed at the entrances to the car park and at pay machines. The Company reserves the right to vary the tariff without notice.

TICKETS. Tickets are non-transferable. Tickets are only valid for one entry and one exit at any one time.

PAYMENT. Payment for the parking duration can only be completed at one of the payment machines or at the exit terminal. Payment can only be made by credit or debit card. Cash payments are not available.

LOST TICKETS. If you lose your car park ticket the charge will be calculated using the vehicles entry time as recorded on the Automated Number Plate Recognition system. In the event the entry time is not recorded, the Company reserves the right to charge the full daily rate.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES. Users of the car park are not permitted to tow any vehicle into or out of the car park. No work on or cleaning of vehicles is permitted in the car park. No activity in connection with the selling, hiring or other disposal of vehicles is permitted in the car park. No car boot sales or selling of any type is to take place.

ABANDONED VEHICLES. Any vehicle left in the car park for more than 5 days, which is not subject to a parking permit or for which prior notification has been given to the Company, may be considered abandoned.

The Company reserved the right to dispose of any vehicle it reasonably believes to have been abandoned.

Before disposing of abandoned vehicles the Company will make reasonable enquiries to identify and contact the registered keeper of the vehicle.

TENANT PARKING. Each approved tenant may be issued with an access controlled parking permit. The parking permit is the Company`s property and must be surrendered to the Company upon request. Such parking permits are not transferable and is available only for the person for which is issued.

Persons using the car park should adhere to the Highway Code and must obey all signage.

Persons using the car park must obey directions from car park personal.

The Company reserves the right to refuse admission to its car parks.

Vehicles must park wholly within marked bays only. Parking is not permitted on driveways or cause obstruction to pedestrians.

The Company reserves the right to move vehicles within the car park, by driving or otherwise to the extent that it is reasonably necessary to avoid any obstruction, security risk or health and safety risk to other users of the car park: or

  • for the more efficient arrangement of its parking facilities: or
  • to remove immobile vehicles from the flow of traffic: or
  • to place vehicles parked over multiple bays into a correct parking bay.

Any vehicle left in the car park for more than 5 days, which is not subject to a valid permit or for which prior notification has been given to the Company, may be considered abandoned.

SEASON PASSES. Season Passes are issued at the discretion of the Company. The Company reserves the right to withdraw a season pass at any time. A notice period of 14 calendar days will be given. A full refund for any remaining term purchased will be given on a pro-rata basis.

DISABLED BAYS – BLUE BADGE HOLDERS ONLY. A Blue Badge MUST be valid and on display in the windscreen whilst parked in a disabled bay.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE BAYS. The Electric Vehicle charging points and bays are for the sole use of electric vehicles, and are only to be occupied by electric vehicles when the electric vehicle is connected and being charged. The electric vehicle charging bays are not available for general parking without the vehicle being connected and being charged.

FURTHER GUIDANCE. Before leaving your vehicle:

  • Ensure your vehicle is locked and all windows securely closed.
  • Ensure that any security lock is properly engaged and alarm system activated.
  • Take all possessions with you when you leave your vehicle. If this is not possible, do not leave them where they are visible.

When leaving you vehicle:-

  • Use the pedestrian crossings and walkway routes highlighted taking note of other vehicles navigating the car park
  • Proceed to the nearest pedestrian exit

When driving in the car park:

  • Drive carefully and safely.
  • Abide by the usual rules of the road and take notice of all markings and signs (static and digital) especially in relation to giving way to other vehicles, watching for pedestrians and stopping.
  • Do not delay your exit from the car park and keep a watchful eye for pedestrians and children using the car park.

NOTIFICATION & COMPLAINTS. For any queries in respect of these terms and conditions or if you consider you have a complaint against the Company, we ask you to notify the Company within 48 hours, in writing, to:-
