Enjoy a week of FREE entertainment at Paradise Summer Live!
Join us in Chamberlain Square for daily live lunchtime recitals from B:music, plus an exciting programme of free street entertainment. From buzzing bees and vibrant Bhangra performances to magical bubbles and Big Top circus skills, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
You can also take part in the Paradise Pollinator Trail designed for families to learn about the Paradise bees and be in with the chance of winning a dining experience at a Paradise restaurant, the opportunity to meet the bees and a family Think Tank experience
It’s all free, so take a seat in Chamberlain Square, enjoy some lunch at one of our wonderful restaurants and have a fun summer with us!
Monday 3rd August

Bees!
Times: 11:30am – 1pm and 1:30pm – 3pm
Bees! is a multi-sensory experience in which visitors can get up close and personal with an installation of 10 deluxe and sumptuous beehives with a difference, in the wonderful surroundings of Chamberlain Square. If you’re brave enough, you can see the secret world of bees – but not as we know it! This thought-provoking art experience is designed to surprise, delight and spark conversation long after your visit.
Look out for the super cuddly buzzy bees roaming around Paradise too – well worth a selfie!
While you’re here, why not pay a visit to the real Paradise bees who are safely tucked away making Paradise honey? Situated just a short two-minute walk away along Congreve Passage, you can view the hives via a window in the hoarding. There’s a population of 360,000 bees who create hundreds of jars of honey which are on sale to staff on site, to raise vital funds for our charities of the year!

Cow & Sow
Times: 12pm and 1.30pm
Paradise-based restaurant Cow & Sow will be sampling a delectable set of dishes crafted by the chefs using the treasured Paradise bee produced honey.
Try some of their tempting snacks or, better still, pop into the restaurant and enjoy the tailor made bee menu!

Pop Voices
Times: 12.30pm – 1.30pm
Pop Voices is 500 strong community choir founded and directed by Anya Small that brings people together through a shared love of contemporary music, friendship and performance. Known for its inclusive, welcoming atmosphere and high-energy concerts, the choir has performed at venues including Birmingham Town Hall, Disneyland Paris and Carnegie Hall, New York. It’s motto is “Big Heart, Big Sound.”
Tuesday 4th August

Bollywood Bazaar
Times: 12pm, 1:30pm and 2:45pm
Experience the energy and colour of Bollywood Bhangra with the Midlands Bhangra Dancers!
Join in the fun as the performers bring Chamberlain Square to life with vibrant routines. Get involved and learn a few bhangra moves.

Dal Singh
Times: 12:30pm – 1:30pm
Dalbir Singh known as The ‘TablaJedi’ is world renowned as one of the most respected Tabla players and percussionists in the UK and has become a sought after Tabla player in the world of popular music.
He has toured globally with artists such as Noel Gallagher, Paul Weller, Ian Brown, Richard Ashcroft, Marillion & Ocean Colour Scene to name a few and features in an innovative Asian Blues band with The Stone Roses guitarist, Aziz Ibrahim.
Wednesday 5th August

Our friends at LaPop will be handing out free ice lollies (let’s hope it’s a sunny day!)

Classical Quirky Violin Show
Times: 12pm, 1:30pm and 2:45pm
Get ready for an engaging and quirky classical violinist with a burning satirical wit. Sid Bowfin, will entertain everyone with Mozart’s one-legged Rondo, Vivaldi’s secret agent Winter, be Brahm’s Hungarian dancers and Rossini’s choir of Barbers.

The Bluebird Belles
Times: 12.30pm – 1.30pm
Dubbed ‘the best thing since The Andrews Sisters’, The Bluebird Belles are a vocal harmony group from the Midlands, known for their glorious harmony arrangements, as well as their collection of original WW2 military uniforms and vintage costumes. Covering popular vintage music from the 1940s, 50s & 60s, with a sprinkling of Postmodern Jukebox tunes, the Belles have something in their repertoire for everybody to enjoy.
Thursday 6 August

Bodyguards!
Times: 12pm, 1:30pm and 2:45pm
Keep your eyes peeled for the Bodyguards! Enjoy a fun filled roaming street theatre and dance group performing around Paradise. These dancing, larger-than-life security professionals are on patrol and you can expect hilarious close protection, surprise dance routines and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments as they escort, entertain and keep Paradise “safe” from imaginary danger.

Amazing Bubble Show
Times: 12pm, 1:45pm and 3pm
The bubble wizard will be mesmerising children of all ages with their skills with bubbles – giant bubbles, bubbles with people in them, bubbles in bubbles …Bubbles everywhere! These guys are the masters of all things bubbles!

Oomparty Band
Times: 12.30pm – 1.30pm
The Oomparty Band are ready to bring up the heat and start the summer party! They will bring some smiles, singing along and toe tapping with unique covers of huge club classics, throwback anthems and noughties dance music.
Friday 7 August

Circus Skills Workshop
Times: 11am – 4pm
Step right up and discover your circus skills! Try your hand at juggling balls, spinning plates and more in this circus workshop that’s fun for all ages. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a budding performer, come along and clown around.

Ryan Evans
Times: 12.30pm – 1.30pm
Ryan Evans is an award-winning country artist and songwriter from Wolverhampton, England, quickly establishing himself as one of the most exciting emerging names on the country music scene. Known for his powerful vocals, authentic songwriting, and energetic live performances, Ryan blends traditional country storytelling with a modern edge, creating music that connects with audiences wherever he performs.

Pop up Barn Dance
Times: 12pm, 1:30pm and 2:45pm
Fun for all the family as traditional barn dances pop up around Paradise for all the family to get involved in. Barn dance, ceilidh, hoedown, whatever – it’s not confined to the village hall anymore! Learn the square dance, join the percussion band and swing your partner around!

Outdoor Table Football
Times: 11am – 4pm
Football fever has gripped the nation for some weeks now and what better way to release the tension, than a free game of table football. Great for all ages, there’s six tables to compete on, so jump on one when you can. Take part in a mini tournament with friends or challenge someone new. Who can beat the king? Challenge him to a match if you dare!

With a distinct sound that will feed your event with energy and zest, Urban JukeBox will keep you dancing all night!
Hailing from across the UK, Urban JukeBox bring a sense of true musicianship and passion to their performance. Urban JukeBox’s band members have opened for world renowned and respected acts such as Tinie Tempah, Leona Lewis, Olly Murs and many more. They have played on some of the UK’s most sought-after stages such as Glastonbury, Bestival, Birmingham’s Barclaycard Arena and Symphony Hall to name a few.
All activities take place in Chamberlain Square unless otherwise stated.
